Kūrybinės dirbtuvės pagal knygą „Akmenėlis”

Edukaciją pradedu pokalbiu apie miestą mieste (geto teritoriją,  gyvenimą jame) ir apie knygos kūrimo procesą. Pasakojimas iliustruojamas žemėlapiais, nuotraukomis iš Kauno, Vilniaus ir kitų getų, iliustracijų eskizais bei kita vaizdine medžiaga, kuri atskleidžia iliustravimo užkulisius. Susipažinę su getu ir knygos sukūrimu vaikai ekrane žiūri ir išgirsta profesionaliai įgarsintą visą knygos „Akmenėlis“ istoriją. Po trumpos refleksijos vyksta kūrybinės dirbtuvėlės, kurių metu kiekvienas dalyvis sukuria po naują namą knygos herojui laisvame mieste. Namams kurti naudojama koliažo technika (kartonas, lino medžiagėlės, įvairūs popieriai, geto teritorijoje fotografuoti ir atspausdinti langai, bei durys).  Medžiagos tokios, kurias būtų galėję turėti gete gyvenę vaikai. Sukurti namai nufotografuojami ir vėliau apjungiami į vieną didelį paveikslą, sudarytą iš visose dirbtuvėse sukurtų namų.

Trukmė: ~1 val. 30 min. (dvi akademinės valandos)

Amžius: 1-4 kl. vaikams arba šeimoms.
Priemonės: visas priemones atsivežu, jo įeina į kainą.
Erdvė: patalpa, kurioje būtų projektorius arba kitoks didelis ekranas su garsu, stalai kūrybiniam darbui atlikti.

Workshop based on the book „Pebble”

Before the workshop usually a talk about the city within the city (the ghetto area, life in the ghetto) and the process of creating the book. The story is illustrated with maps, photographs from Kaunas, Vilnius and other ghettos, sketches of illustrations and other visual material that reveals the behind-the-scenes of illustration.

For the workshop I came to the idea to create a city of freedom, to build new houses, to remember and honor those who lived in the ghetto. I decided to use the photographs if the windows, balconies and doors of the houses in the Ghetto as one of the materials. I went to Vilnius, defined the territory of the ghetto on a map and spent the whole day walking through the streets, yards and taking pictures. The other materials are very simple: yellow paper for the background, smaller size craft paper for creating a shape of the houses and linen fabrics to decorate it. I wanted to use simple materials that a child living in the ghetto would find. Materials presented for the workshop, especially photographs, connect the historical events and the present. The participant touches deeper the story and the past.

After the workshop I take a photo of all the houses and combine them all into one big free city.
